A Message From Our President and CEO, Bev Marquez, LPC

Answering the Call for Colorado

It is an honor and a privilege to lead Rocky Mountain Crisis Partners in Colorado. Since 2014, Colorado has invested in a comprehensive crisis system including 24/7 crisis/support line, mobile crisis response, crisis walk-in centers and crisis stabilization and respite. RMCP has been the front door of Colorado Crisis Services through our 24/7/365 crisis/support lines, text and chat, and mobile crisis dispatch services. Additionally, RMCP has been the ten-digit National Suicide Prevention lifeline provider for Colorado since 2011. The NSPL became the three-digit number, 988, in July of 2022 and we are proud to “answer the call” for Colorado.

The launch of 988 nationally is transforming the crisis industry and providing easier access for those experiencing a behavioral health crisis for themselves or someone they are concerned about. This transformation comes with more funding and more mental health/suicide prevention awareness than ever before. This increased attention on crisis support has allowed us to invest in our infrastructure, our staff and our programs! By having the staff to support our frontline team members, improving our pay, benefits and professional development to retain our staff and make crisis work a career, and being on the cutting edge of new programs, we are better able to serve our Colorado callers and texters!

We take our mission to provide statewide, 24/7, crisis intervention services seriously! We strive every day to be accessible and responsive to those in crisis and to provide connection, compassion, expertise, resources and follow-up services. We have proudly answered the call for over 2.2 million people in crisis since 2010!

If you would like to support our life-saving mission, here are some ideas to consider:

Take good care and thanks for visiting Rocky Mountain Crisis Partners!
