Peer Specialist

Lived Experience in Mental Health or Substance Use | Answers the Colorado Support Line providing elements of hope, support, wellness, and recovery to individual clients, their families, and a wide variety of community helpers.

Training Specialist

This position adds a second trainer to the RMCP Training Specialist staff and will attend some of the Peer Specialist training on July 13, 2020. The Training Specialist team will be responsible for the implementation and administration of internal and external RMCP training and training materials. Internally, they will provide training for Online Emotional Support, Crisis Line and Support Line staff, both in a new-hire and an on-going basis; on subject matters necessary and relevant to an effective call center operation. This position will provide support to the Director of Program Development in all their training needs. This position will also coordinate and deliver external training to the community.

Crisis Specialist

Bachelor's Level Behavioral Health Professional | Answers various RMCP Crisis Lines - rapidly evaluate complex behavioral health situations, then develop, recommend, and support clinically appropriate crisis interventions to be implemented with individual clients, their families, and a wide variety of community helpers, including law enforcement and EMS personnel.

Dispatch Specialist

Dispatch Specialists receive and process requests and referral for mobile crisis services. Such requests will be from internal stakeholders (RMCP crisis specialists) and external stakeholders (professionals in the community: first responders, schools, social services, medical professionals, etc.). Dispatch Specialists ensure timely and accurate continuity of care between the crisis line, community partners, and Mobile Crisis providers. Dispatch Specialists are expected to serve as a Crisis Specialist when business needs dictate.

Veteran Follow up Specialist

We are currently expanding our Follow Up Programs to include Veterans as a key component of our program. Our goal is to establish crisis services that enable Veteran to Veteran telephonic support. We are currently seeking individuals with veteran status who are interested in being on the front phone lines of Coloradans seeking support during challenging times.

Follow up Program Manager

The Follow Up Coordinator is responsible for oversight and project management of RMCP’s follow up activities and programs. This position works closely with both call center staff and the supervisory team to ensure high quality follow up services, adherence to accepted protocol, efficiency and accuracy of protocol and data collection processes. This position also plays a key role in the potential development/implementation of new programs. The Follow Up Coordinator will be the direct contact for grants/funders related to follow up and will participate in all grant management activities. This position will also oversee RMCPs resource directory to ensure accurate and quality resources are available for RMCP team members

Program Community Liaison

This position serves as a liaison between RMCP and the Colorado community regarding our crisis, peer and follow up programs. The Community Program Liaison acts as primary contact between RMCP and hospital sites to promote and maintain RMCP’s hospital follow up programming. This position represents RMCP throughout the Colorado Community by participating in identified meetings, task forces or media requests. Maintain working knowledge of RMCP’s programs including operational protocols and utilization.

OES Text Crisis Specialists

Bachelors Level | OES Text Crisis Specialists respond to electronic messages (i.e. text) for the crisis line. OES Specialists rapidly evaluate complex behavioral health situations, then develop, recommend, and support clinically appropriate crisis interventions to be implemented with individual clients, their families, and a wide variety of community helpers.
