Bev Marquez

Chief Executive Officer

Bev Marquez, LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) is the RMCP CEO.

Bev earned an MA in Agency Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado in 1988, and has a BS in Psychology from Colorado State University. Bev is a Certified Psychological First Aid Trainer and is a member of state, national, and international Critical Incident Response teams.

Bev’s clinical experience includes working with individuals and family members in community mental health, employee assistance programs, and private practice settings. Bev has over 20 years of experience providing mental health and substance abuse services and consultation for employers, community agencies, and first responders.

Before coming to RMCP, Bev was a partner in a behavioral risk consultation practice where she provided consultation to employers regarding employee behavior and performance concerns. Bev was a team leader in response to the Columbine High School incident, the 9-11 attacks, and airline disaster preparedness training and exercises. She most recently was the EAP provider at Denver Iinternational Airport where she provided counseling to employees, consultation to managers and was a member of DIA’s Emergency Response Team.

Bev is most qualified for leadership at RMCP as she has been on the ground floor of system and process development in both public and private mental health service systems. Bev’s strength is to blend the clinical and business needs of an organization and the client or community to establish a state-of-the-art delivery system.

Bev was instrumental in the developing an international 24/7 crisis and consultation line for employees and employers. In her executive leadership role, she established relationships with key customers and effective partnerships with professional and community members. Additionally, she recruited, developed, and managed clinical teams for professional activities ranging from account management to crisis and short term counseling, quality assurance, and resource development.

Bev joined RMCP (Metro Crisis Services) as its Director of Operations in April of 2010, and was named the CEO in December 2012.  Bev is instrumental in achieving the organization’s current programmatic and operational goals, establishing effective partnerships with professional and community members, and leading the way for the success of collaborative Statewide Crisis Efforts.
